The smallest sedan in Audi's garage is arguably one of the prettiest. Body styles include a four-door sedan and a two-door cabriolet (convertible), plus the new A3 Sportback e-tron plugin hybrid. It can run for up to 17 miles on battery before the 150-horsepower turbo four-cylinder kicks in (the system makes a net 204 horses). Base front-wheel drive models use a turbocharged 170-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder. A turbocharged 220-horsepower 2-liter four cylinder is standard in all-wheeldrive versions and a more powerful 290-horsepower 2-liter is found in the sporty S3.
Base price (incl. destination): $32,150; $39,900 (e-tron)
The redone 2018 Allroad is a derivative of the A4 Sedan. The wagon projects an aggressive attitude with it’s flared fenders with blackened trim (body-colored trim is available with certain paint schemes) and underbody protection the well-tailored cabin leans toward the luxury side of the spectrum. The new turbo-charged four cylinder dishes out 252-horsepower and a 273 lb. feet of torque. Audi’s all-wheel-drive Quattro system is standard.
Base price (incl. destination): $45,000
